A plaque for two brothers

Milan’s Cimitero Monumentale doesn’t have graves only: indeed, you can find several plaques dedicated to soldiers whose bodies never found or that were buried far away from Milan. I’ll propose you over the next weeks some pictures of them, as they are very interesting items. Morever, most of them still have the photographs of the soldiers, which are pretty well conserved. We’ll start with this rather uncommon plaque, as it’s dedicated to two brothers, killed in 1917 (Umberto) and 1918 (Edoardo).
