U-Boot U-1

After this French parenthesis due to Bastille Day, here are other “German pictures”, taken during my journey in Munich. These two pictures were taken in the famous deutsches Museum, a museum I visited for the first time about 25 years ago (writing that down, one realizes he’s getting older…). This huge museum, dedicated to technical things, presents several items linked to the Great War, such as the very first German submarine, the U-1 U-Boot. It was launched in 1907 and served as a training unit during the conflict.
