History of the First World War

For this Tuesday, another British vintage magazine dedicated to the Great War. History of the First World War was published in 1971 by BPC Publishing Ltd in co-operation with the Imperial War Museum. I know that there were 8 volumes, with 16 issues for each one, therefore the collection had 128 issues. Once again, most of the iconographic material was provided by the Imperial War Museum. I remember similar magazines about WW2 published in France when I was a child in the 70’s/early 80’s, I think I would have loved reading a similar one about WW1 in French!
