Two pictures taken in Milan, just behind the Palazzo di Giustizia. On Via Carlo Freguglia 14 is located the Casa del Mutilato, which was built for Italian soldiers maimed during the Great War. This building was built between 1938 and 1942, even if the idea of such a building is dated 1921! If you’re interested in Italian architecture and you can read Italian, you can have a look at this page.
On the back of the building I’ve recently discovered a huge mosaic showing wounded soldiers.
