Life goes on

I think I’ve found the perfect title for this post. We’re in Tréveray (southern Meuse); women, whose husbands were probably in the army, have a brief look at the heavy guns carried by horses passing in the main street…

    • How amazing that the street has survived so long with so little change. “Walking” toward the shrine I see just one difference – the War Memorial. You must get a present day photo from the same camera position to overlay and show this profound contrast of time. It could be the centerpiece of your exhibition.

  1. Tréveray was the village where my grand-parents lived, and indeed the village didn’t change in about one century. This region is rather poor and almost forgotten, this explains why the houses in the main street are the very same ones!
