What a contrast with the hair of the sergeant shown yesterday! This picture was taken some years before the beginning of the Great War, probably before 1899, as this soldiers wears a dolman. I have to confess I forgot the meaning of the double chevron on the right sleeve of this man, let’s hope that some French follower will be able to help me…
