And here’s our Friday Poulbot drawing, obviously linked to the topic of the week: the group. In this case, our group is a crowd of tenants. They’re all in the apartment of the building’s caretaker. The reason for it?
The reason for it is that there was a zeppelin raid alert. This humoristic picture has taught me two things:
– it seems that in France (or at least Paris), during the war, people were asked to go the caretaker in case of raid alert (you can read the sign on the picture).
– Caretakers had to collect the tenants’ rents.
