War Damage

Today’s document was written in Augut 1919, about 9 months after the end of the war on the Italian front, and deals with the problem of war damages. An Italian colonnello, Freguglia, responsible for the question of requisitions and war damages for Brescia province, asks to the signore Cesare Giacomini to provide an official document which shows he’s the owner of the damaged building or field. The signore Cesare Giacomini lived in Tremosine, a small village located N/W of Garda Lake, exactly where the front was. Was his field or building damaged by Austrian troops or by Italian ones which had their camp there?
