Martens Farm

Two British soldiers having a break in the ruins of what was before a farm on the Western front. This place was called “Martens Farm”. Doing some researches on the Web, I’ve found that this place was one of the objectives of the Battle of Messines (7th June 1917) (see this site); the photograph was probably taken just after the battle.
